Week 42: Room booking, memberships and stronger sign-in protection

12 ott 2026 - 18 ott 20264 rilasci

This week Praxium adds room booking with renewing memberships, a rebuilt Client Portal experience and stronger sign-in protection.

  • Room booking: You can offer shared rooms with a people limit and sell renewing memberships paid online.
  • Client Portal: People get a rebuilt Appointments page, a Memberships page, booking from every page and a footer with opening hours.
  • Sign-in security: New organizations start with required two-factor sign-in, every sign-in lock sends an email, and you can lock your screen on demand.
  • Payments: Membership payments are recorded reliably, and Mollie refunds and chargebacks now show in your payment history.

Funzionalità

  • Room booking with memberships: You can offer shared rooms, such as a gym or sauna, with a limit on the number of people per session. Set weekly hours and date overrides, and sell renewing memberships paid through your own payment provider account. Praxium sends payment reminders, pauses booking and ends unpaid memberships automatically. Turn it on under Settings › General › Room booking.
  • Memberships in the Client Portal: People can buy a plan, pay from the Memberships page, and book or cancel sessions. A plan someone already holds shows as a disabled option with a note beside its name.
  • Membership management: Show running memberships in the Memberships column, filter custom views with Has a running membership, and pick the first payment before you save a membership. You can also undo a payment recorded at the desk.
  • Rebuilt Client Portal: The Appointments page opens on an Upcoming tab with one-line agenda rows and an Add all to calendar option. People can book from the top bar on every page, and a footer shows address, phone, email and opening hours. The home page lists up to three upcoming days.
  • Stronger sign-in protection: New organizations start with required two-factor sign-in, which the owner can switch to optional. Every sign-in lock sends an email, and you can send a reset link or reset two-factor sign-in for staff and people using the Client Portal. Choose Lock screen in the account menu to hide protected content at once.
  • Mollie refunds and chargebacks: Refunds and chargebacks made in Mollie are recorded in the payment history, and a full refund makes the period unpaid again. Pay links offer only the instant methods you enabled, and receipt emails name the payment method, for example Online · iDEAL.
  • Case-shared field sets: A field set can keep one set of values for a whole case, which you read and edit from every appointment in that case. When an appointment moves between cases, you choose whether to keep, replace or add values. Existing field sets keep working as before.
  • Clear saving in lists and views: Column changes save automatically with a Saving and Saved confirmation, and filters stay temporary until you choose Save as new. When you leave a changed view, you can choose Stay, Discard changes, Save as new, or Save and continue. Custom views also mark added, hidden and reordered columns.
  • Emails and notifications: Appointment and room emails show a Manage button, a View button or no portal button, depending on what the recipient can do. The account tab is now called Notifications, and optional emails link to the recipient's Notifications settings.
  • Everyday improvements: Long Text fields can hold up to 10 reusable text templates. Email and payment connections show Healthy, Needs attention or Not checked, and information messages share one blue style. The new Plum branding preset replaces Rose.

Correzioni

  • Membership payments: A membership paid online now shows as paid. After paying, people return to the Memberships page still signed in with a clear payment message. Pressing Pay on an already paid link now says Already paid.
  • Payments for someone else: A person who paid another person's Pay link now reads that the payment is recorded on the other membership, and the sign-in page explains that no sign-in is needed.
  • Password change in the Client Portal: Changing the password works again and now signs out every device.
  • Locked or deactivated accounts: The session now ends and the sign-in page names the reason, instead of every page failing with a plain error.
  • Two-factor reset emails: The reset email now reaches staff and people using the Client Portal.
  • Names: Names with an apostrophe, such as O'Brien, read correctly in emails. Entity names can no longer contain angle brackets or curly braces.
  • Phone and screen fit: Pages with tables no longer scroll sideways on a phone. Dropdown menus stop at the window edge and scroll, and ⓘ badges and popovers fit the screen.
  • Changes that were lost: View preferences, onboarding steps and released booking holds are saved when you close a page quickly. Going back keeps your draft, and quick tab switching keeps your last choice.
  • Dropdowns and views: Searchable dropdowns reopen with the current choice in view, and a copy of a shared view can be renamed without a duplicate-name error.
  • After an update: The first page load after an update no longer fails with a security state message, so you no longer need to reload.

Sicurezza e affidabilità

  • Counted password confirmations: Wrong password confirmations, for example when unlocking the screen or managing two-factor sign-in, now count toward the sign-in lock, and a locked account is refused.
  • Protected sign-in sessions: Additional safeguards protect sessions in every portal, and a stale browser tab can no longer lock a session after newer activity.
  • Dependable online payments: A failed payment request is retried safely, every call to Mollie ends within its time limit, and the receipt email goes out after Mollie has answered.
  • Protected payment updates: An unknown caller can no longer use up your organization's rate limit for Mollie payment updates.
  • Reliable settings updates: Changes to your organization's settings now reach every server instead of occasionally taking up to five minutes.
  • Stricter access checks: Access to page titles and location data is checked more strictly, and room bookings are checked against the room's location and your access.
